While we’re not completely cashless yet—I still pay for my morning coffee and tip my barista in cash—it’s certainly trending that way. That’s why, as a business, it’s important to think about credit card payment processing and not only how you handle it but how much it costs.

So whether you’re shopping around for a new provider or reassessing your current tech stack to see where you can cut costs, it’s essential to take a look at fees for credit card processing, and how much it costs your business to accept payments.

Computer, Phone, Tablet, & Wearables / Apple Software: Notes Versus Pages
Last post by M P -
::) Why do Apple iPhones & iPads have both a Notes & a Pages app?
Quote
Apple Notes and Pages have different purposes and features:
  • Pages is a full-featured document processor with pagination, formatting for print, and more.
  • Notes is more for quick capture, storage, and smaller ideas.

Apple Notes and Pages are both note-taking apps developed by Apple, but they serve different purposes. Notes is a more general-purpose app that allows you to take notes, create outlines, and even record audio or video. Pages, on the other hand, is a word processing app that’s designed for creating documents, reports, and presentations. While both apps can be used for note-taking, Pages is geared towards creating more formal, written content.

Computer, Phone, Tablet, & Wearables / Apple Software: Reminders Versus Calendar

::) Are these just overlapping/redundant software apps—or is there a difference?
Quote
While iOS 18 allows you to create reminders within the Calendar app, it doesn't mean the Reminders app is now obsolete. You can't create Calendar events directly within the Reminders app. The Calendar app is primarily for scheduling events, while the Reminders app remains dedicated to managing tasks.
